Unit Abilities

  • Afflicted Tokens: -1 Toughness (x7)
  • Lord of the plague guard: Ability available this round
  • Fevered: -1 CP Cost stratagem within 12” available this round
  • Blight: Plague Guard re-roll hits of 1 vs unit, or all hits if a blast weapon
  • Enfeebled: -2 to move
  • Spray Available: Once per battle, unit fights first
  • Extraction: +6 objective control
  • Inflamed: 5+ crit hits vs unit, or 4+ if below half-strength
  • Icon available: Remove battle shock from a Plague Guard unit within 12”
  • Corrosive: +1 AP with ranged attacks vs unit
  • Barrage: No benefit of cover
  • Support: Re-roll wounds for disembarking unit vs target
  • Virulent: Daemons gain +1 DMG vs unit 
  • Rot: -1 Toughness (x2)
  • Infected: Objective Secured (x2)
  • Death’s Head: Daemons re-roll wounds vs unit

Faith Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Litanies: Test for LD at start of Command Phase & if passed gain 1 Miracle Dice
  • Blade: Bearer gains +1 Melee Str, AP & Precision. gain 1 Miracle Dice if any enemy models are slain in Melee
  • Divine: In your move phase select an enemy within 12” to test for Battle Shock. Gain 1 Miracle Dice if the test is failed
  • Triptych: When the bearer uses Faith for a save it automatically passes despite the dice value

Stratagems:

  • Faith: 5+ FNP vs Mortals. If a Jump unit, this also affects other units within 3”
    Light: Unit can ignore any or all MODS (except save). If a Jump unit, this also affects other units within 3”
  • Fury: Unit gains Lance & gain 1 Miracle Dice if you slay any enemy models
  • Radiance: -1 to be Hit. If a Jump unit, this also affects other units within 3”
  • Guidance: Unit gains +1 AP & gain 1 Miracle Dice if you slay any enemy models

Fly Host Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Chorus: Units ranged weapons gain assault
  • Murmuration: Unit re-rolls wounds of 1 vs enemies in contagion range
  • Rejuvenating: Bearer heals all wounds at the end of each phase
  • Veil: While in range of an objective you control the bearer’s unit can only be targeted within 18”

Stratagems:

  • Invigoration: -1 to be wounded if STR is higher than toughness

Hammer Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Eye: Unit gains Ignores Cover vs afflicted units
  • Blight: +12” to Plague Wind weapon
  • Familiar Available: 0CP Overwatch on bearer’s unit available this round
  • Emissions: Bearer gains Lone Op within 3” of a vehicle & vehicles targeting units in the bearer’s LOS re-roll wounds of 1 with ranged attacks

Stratagems:

  • Blighted: Enemies are afflicted within 3”
  • Despair: Re-roll hits vs non-aircraft units in enemy deploy zone
  • Font: Vehicle gains assault
  • Mire: -2 to be charged

Shamblerot Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Pipes: While leading Pox Walkers the unit gains +1 to OC, battle shock & LD tests
  • Lord of the Pox: While leading Pox Walkers in reserves, treat set up as though it was round 3
  • Sorrow-syphon: +1 DMG for bearer’s plague weapon but D3 bodyguard models are slain after fighting
  • Talisman: +1 toughness for Pox Walkers while leading the unit

Stratagems:

  • Walking Pox: Roll a D6 for each model slain, on a 6 inflict 1 mortal. Casualties count towards the curse of pox ability
  • Hunger: +1” Move,+1 attacks &+1 STR to melee weapons
  • Wall: When attacks against this unit are visible & eligible to attack the Wall Unit, no save is taken & the wall unit suffers the damage

Chosen Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Face: Start of fight phase, enemies in melee range must test for battle shock
  • Vigour: Unit gains +1” to move & advance
  • Talisman Available: Once per battle, end of enemy turn & not in melee, may be placed in reserves
  • Helm: Unit cannot be targeted outside 18”

Stratagems:

  • Blooming: +3” to contagion range
  • Reapers: Re-roll hits vs non-monsters & vehicles
  • Spite: 4+ Fight on death
  • Signal Objective: Enemies in range are afflicted
  • Teachings: Ranged weapons gain assault & heavy

Virulent Detachment

Detachment Abilities:

  • Blight: Objective Secured (x6)

Enhancements:

  • Daemon Weapon: Bearer’s melee gains 5+ Crit Hits
  • Furnace: Bearer’s melee gain +1 STR, Attacks & DEV Wounds
  • Contaminator: Unit re-rolls wounds while within range of an objective you control
  • Regeneration: Bearer gains a 5+ FNP

Stratagems:

  • Resilient: -1 DMG from Attacks
  • Plague Surge: +3” to Contagion Range stick
  • Generosity: My re-roll the number of attacks vs unit
  • Blight: Re-roll hits & wounds vs Afflicted units

Champions Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Ingredient: Once per battle, when an enemy character is slain in melee, pick an additional plague 
  • Ingredient Tracker
  • Visions: Units affected by Fallout are also afflicted
  • Needle: Return D3 models instead of 1
  • Cornuco-phagus Tracker

Stratagems:

  • Blessings: Unit gains 5+ Crit Hits
  • Malignance: Re-roll hits & wounds vs enemies below starting strength
  • Fortitude: Unit gains +2 toughness
  • Infusion: Unit gains Fights First
  • Heads: Unit is affected by all plagues

Tallyband Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Blight: Deep striking daemon units set up wholly within 12” only need to be 8” away from the enemy
  • Harvester: +2 attacks for bearer’s melee weapons
  • Knell: Enemies test for battle shock within 6” when below starting strength in enemy battle shock step
  • Tome: +1 to battle shock tests for daemons within 12” and heal D3 if passed, or return D3 models if battleline 

Stratagems:

  • Corruption: Re-roll hits vs enemies in melee range of a daemon unit
  • Rot: Unit is not considered within melee range, however each time an enemy in melee range suffers any wounds, on 5+ this unit suffers 1 mortal
  • Avatars: Enemies within 6” are afflicted
  • Mire-slick: Falling back units must take a LD test to move

Contagion Detachment

Upgrades:

  • Parasitic: After this unit has fought, one model heals D3 (x3)
  • Worldsore: Unit gains mobile (x3)

Stratagems:

  • Vectors: Re-roil wounds of 1
  • Bloodrust: Afflicted while engine is attacking

Flyblown Detachment

Upgrades:

  • Insectile: Re-roll wounds of 1 vs enemies within contagion range of a friendly unit (x3)
  • Plague-veil: Unit has -3” detection range (x3)

Stratagems:

  • Droning: Re-roll hits of 1, also re-roll wounds of 1 if within half range

Paragons Detachment

Enhancements:

  • Rejuvenating: Bearer is -1 to wound if the STR of an attack is higher than their toughness
  • Host Tracker

Stratagems:

  • Territorial: Unit gains +1 OC
  • Spasms: Unit has +6” detection range
  • Contamination: May still shoot after performing an action
